Saturday, January 21 – 10:15 – 11:00 AM
Panelists will provide a look back at collaborations that have launched over the past couple of years and discuss common technology themes, opportunities, and challenges. Facilitated by Just-Tech’s President, John Greiner, this session will include discussion on what makes collaborative projects successful, lessons learned, sustainability considerations, how such projects could be replicated successfully, and common technologies that support collaborations
LSC’s Technology Baselines Discussion
Just-Tech’s Tony Lu, Senior Consultant, and Taylor Goetzinger, Project Manager, will be facilitating discussion around LSC’s Technology Baselines. Just-Tech is working with LSC to update the technology baselines which define the technology capacities that LSC grantees should have in place or have available to them through a vendor or a partner. Tony and Taylor look forward to engaging with stakeholders for this exciting discussion!
Wake-up Call: Understanding Security and Compliance Frameworks
Friday, January 20 – 1:45 PM – 3:00 PM
During this session, Just-Tech’s Director of Consulting, Ellen Samuel, and her co-presenter will discuss security and privacy in the context of IT operations, review existing frameworks and standards, and help you choose a standard for governing IT from a realistic, boots-on-the-ground perspective. If you want to know what the alphabet soup of NIST, CSF, PCI, ISO, HIPAA, etc. can do to give you real peace of mind and make you look good to auditors, funders, and management, then this session is for you.
Data and Evaluation for Legal Aid Programs
Friday, January 20th – 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM
This session will introduce attendees to the LSNTAP Data and Evaluation Toolkit. Just-Tech Senior Consultant, Caitlin McTiernan, and her co-presenters, will provide attendees with an introduction to data analysis, including an overview of the common project phases, inputs, and skills involved in these efforts. Particular attention will be paid to identifying distinct types and purposes of evaluations, including LSC TIG grant evaluations.
In addition to the presentations and panels, ITC23 will also have networking sessions and affinity groups for attendees to meet, connect, discuss and share topics of interest. We plan on participating in as many of those as we can and look forward to meeting some of you during those sessions as well.
