Rucha became involved with the legal aid community as a Legal and Tech Assistant at Bay Area Legal Services in Tampa. There she helped create and coordinate their iLawyer program, connecting clients with Pro-Bono attorneys outside of regular business hours through technology. Before coming to Just-Tech, Rucha was the IT/Operations Associate at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia where she assisted in managing all of their technology and day to day operations. While working at the Legal Aid Society of DC, Rucha played a key role in implementing new technology while developing training systems and materials to help users during major technical transitions. Rucha’s positive and confident energy mixed with her interest in technology and access to justice will allow her to help manage Just-Tech’s projects.
